3. Interdisciplinary Research

4. Out-of-Scope Manuscripts

Manuscripts may be declined where they:

  • Fall substantially outside the journal's subject areas.
  • Lack a meaningful academic, scientific, or technical contribution.
  • Do not provide adequate methodology or supporting evidence.
  • Fail to meet the journal's ethical and publication requirements.
  • Are primarily commercial or promotional rather than scholarly.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to determine whether a submitted manuscript falls within the scope of JMER.
