Journal of Multidisciplinary Engineering Research (JMER)

1. Overview

The Journal of Multidisciplinary Engineering Research (JMER) publishes high-quality, original research across engineering and technology disciplines. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

2. Types of Manuscripts

  • Original Research Articles

  • Technical/Case Studies
  • Conference Papers (extended versions)

3. Manuscript Preparation

Format

  • Use the JMER template (single-column format)
  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Length: 6–15 pages (recommended)
  • Language: English (clear, concise, professional)

Structure of the Paper

  1. Title – Clear and concise, avoid abbreviations
  2. Author Information – Full names, affiliation, email
  3. Abstract – 150–250 words
  4. Keywords – 4–6 relevant keywords
  5. Introduction – Background and objectives
  6. Literature Review (optional)
  7. Methodology
  8. Results and Discussion
  9. Conclusion
  10. References – APA or IEEE style

4. Figures, Tables, and Equations

  • Figures must be clear and high resolution
  • Tables must include units and proper headings
  • All figures and tables must be referenced in the text
  • Equations must be numbered and variables defined

5. Referencing Style

Authors may use APA (7th Edition) or IEEE style. The format must be consistent throughout the manuscript.

6. Publication Ethics

  • No plagiarism (low similarity index required)
  • No multiple or simultaneous submissions
  • Proper citation of all sources
  • All authors must approve submission

The journal follows international publication ethics standards.

7. Peer Review Process

  • Double-blind peer review
  • Typical review period: 2–3 weeks
  • Decision: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject
